Your Personal Health Coach to Help You Reach Your Health Goals

Hi, I’m Holly and your Welliom health coach! And, I’m really looking forward to meeting you soon. 

Before we meet, I want to make sure you know what to expect when working with a coach, because I’m guessing that maybe this is your first experience with a health coach.

The most important thing to understand is that as a health coach I am trained to help you access the best parts of yourself in order to get the results that you want regarding your health and wellness (and frankly life) goals.  The time you spend with me is all about you, where you want to go and working together to get you there.  Just like a coach for a world class athlete – I don’t do the work for you, but I facilitate your discovery of finding how to dig deep to succeed.

Functional Medicine

I know your doctor has created a robust and unique plan, designed just for you based on your lab results, your symptoms and your goals.  For many of you, this might be a whole new way of dealing with your health, involving a lot of participation on your part – and that’s where I come in!  My job is to support you with whatever you need in order to succeed with the doctor devised. This could be more information on the details of the plan, helping you find resources and tools to make the plan fit your lifestyle, helping nurture a new skill or uncovering the motivation deep within you needed in order to make important and lasting changes to your lifestyle that now seem overwhelming. Bottom line – It really is all about you!

In your sessions with me, I will not be telling you what to do, rather focusing on how to implement your personal treatment plan successfully into your life. I am not a nutritionist or a dietician, so I won’t be able to provide in depth nutrition counseling or advice regarding supplements. Instead, what I can do is help you better understand the food plan that our doctors recommend for you, and give you further education on the supplements and labs that the doctors are asking you to get.

So, before your first session with me, please take a moment to sit still and get clear on what you most need in order to succeed with your plan.  Think about why you sought out a Functional Medicine doctor in the first place and where you want to be a year from now in terms of both your health and your life. I want to know who you are, what drives you, what your concerns are and most of all what is going well in your life. And most importantly, I want you to walk out of our sessions feeling empowered to embrace the plan that the doctor created for you and committed to taking the next step towards your return to wellness.
